Community-based residential facilities need personnel who are qualified to render the right services. These individuals need to go through CBRF Training to equip themselves with the right skills to perform their jobs properly.
The CBRF Training focuses primarily on 4 areas: namely, Medication Administration, Standard Precautions, First Aid / Choking, and Fire Safety. These are all crucial areas that personnel need to be trained with to better care for their patients.
Lolas New Beginnings provides all required cores of C.B.R.F. training. The entire training requires 4 days of class.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Medication Administration: This class discusses the basic pharmacology of commonly used medications and how to safely administer it to others. It teaches beginners important medication information to understand and carry out the administration of medication to residents in community settings.
Standard Precautions: This class identifies what diseases in the community can be spread from person to person and instructs how to prevent these diseases from being spread. It is an interactive class that teaches the best standards to prevent illness caused by communicable diseases.
First Aid Certification: This class discusses how to respond to an emergency and how to apply First Aid when needed. It is a hands-on learning session to promote best practices while faced with helping a person that is injured or choking.
Fire Safety: After completing this class, you will be able to understand the nature of fire, recognize fire hazards, learn about early warning systems, understand the use of fire extinguishers, focus on evacuation needs of residents, follow the CBRF emergency and disaster plan, and respond well in an emergency. After successfully taking this class, students will be CBRF certified in Fire Safety.
